Improper system configuration or tuning\u003cbr data-start=\"1456\" data-end=\"1459\"\u003ed. Overpowering, clipping, distortion or incorrect amplifier setup\u003cbr data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1528\"\u003ee. Operation outside of rated electrical, thermal or impedance specifications\u003cbr data-start=\"1605\" data-end=\"1608\"\u003ef. Incorrect enclosure design, unsuitable port tuning or lack of appropriate filtering in speaker applications\u003cbr data-start=\"1718\" data-end=\"1721\"\u003eg. Water ingress, corrosion, environmental exposure or contamination\u003cbr data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"1792\"\u003eh. Physical damage, impact damage or damage caused by foreign objects\u003cbr data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1864\"\u003ei. Voltage spikes, unstable charging systems, defective alternators or inadequate vehicle electrical systems\u003cbr data-start=\"1972\" data-end=\"1975\"\u003ej. Use in competition, demonstration or extreme operating environments where stress exceeds normal consumer use\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2090\" data-end=\"2375\"\u003e2.3 Damage consistent with voice coil burn, thermal overload, mechanical over excursion, bottoming of components, reverse polarity connection, overcurrent, overvoltage, or operation below minimum rated impedance shall be deemed non manufacturing faults and may invalidate the warranty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"2434\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e3. Inspection and Determination\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2436\" data-end=\"2554\"\u003e3.1 All returned products are subject to technical inspection and testing by \u003cstrong\u003eScunthorpe Audio\u003c\/strong\u003e or its authorised agents.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2556\" data-end=\"2684\"\u003e3.2 The determination of whether a defect is a manufacturing fault shall be made solely by \u003cstrong\u003eScunthorpe Audio\u003c\/strong\u003e following inspection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2686\" data-end=\"2914\"\u003e3.3 Where inspection confirms that failure has resulted from any excluded cause listed in this policy, the warranty claim may be rejected. In such cases, return carriage and any diagnostic charges may be payable by the customer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2943\" data-end=\"2971\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4. Tampering and Modification\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"2973\" data-end=\"3130\"\u003e4.1 Any product that has been opened, modified, repaired, dismantled or tampered with by any person not authorised by \u003cstrong\u003eScunthorpe Audio\u003c\/strong\u003e may void this warranty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"3132\" data-end=\"3237\"\u003e4.2 Removal, alteration or defacement of serial numbers or identification labels shall void the warranty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"3266\" data-end=\"3274\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e5. Remedy\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"3276\" data-end=\"3397\"\u003e5.1 Where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed within the warranty period, \u003cstrong\u003eScunthorpe Audio\u003c\/strong\u003e shall, at its discretion:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"3399\" data-end=\"3549\"\u003ea. Repair the product\u003cbr data-start=\"3420\" data-end=\"3423\"\u003eb. Replace the product with the same or equivalent model\u003cbr data-start=\"3479\" data-end=\"3482\"\u003ec. Provide a refund in accordance with applicable UK consumer law\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"3551\" data-end=\"3778\"\u003e5.2 The remedy provided under this warranty is limited to the product itself and does not extend to installation costs, removal costs, vehicle damage, loss of use, loss of earnings or any other indirect or consequential losses.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"3807\" data-end=\"3832\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e6.
